Will hydrogen be a viable alternative energy source? Several companies seem to be banking on its success; BloombergNEF predicts that supply might even outpace demand as policies that would make use of the hydrogen might not be in place yet when production capability grows. In part, it depends on China. The country is notoriously secretive about its energy policies; if they’re working on incorporating hydrogen into their energy policies, demand might skyrocket as they make it easier to implement everywhere else in the world.

The First Solar-Powered Car Comes at a Hot Price
The Lightyear O is a revolutionary electric car powered by the sun. Developed by a Dutch startup, the four-door sedan has over 50 square feet of solar panels on its roof and hood, generating up to 43 miles of energy a day.
