A new phase of matter just dropped, and it has two time dimensions. Physicists created this new phase of matter by shining a quantum computer’s qubits with laser lights in a Fibonacci sequence. Each part of a Fibonacci sequence is the sum of the two previous parts, making it an ordered but non-repeating pattern.
