Venkatash Rao controversially suggests that businesses are better off being product-driven as opposed to customer-driven, as businesses cannot fully turn off their internal dialogue and thus cannot truly listen to the needs of their customers. In his view, businesses always think lowly of their customers, but not all of them will be honest about it.
