Snap Judgment

In photography’s infancy, creating fun trick shots was denounced by many of the field’s experts. Trick shots, like silhouette pictures and man-in-a-bottle photos, were a product of errors while the photographs were being developed. Trick shots blossomed into a separate art in itself, as it required knowledge of how taking pictures and developing them worked. However, they were scorned by expert photographers as they felt these photos were undermining their quest to be taken seriously as an objective medium. Read full article here
