Jupiter has long been known for its impressive red spot, elegant rings and dozens of moons, but now it turns out the gas giant is even more impressive – it has a whopping 92 moons! Astronomer Scott Sheppard has identified twelve new moons in Jupiter’s orbit, making it the planet with the most moons in our solar system.
