What do a motorcycle rider and a pianist have in common? Their hobbies are connected through one company! To be more specific, the Yamaha Motor Company is an offshoot of the Yamaha Corporation, one of the most competitive players in the piano industry. Yamaha Corporation started out manufacturing musical instruments but shifted gears (literally!) to manufacturing vehicles during World War II.
