Hiring new talent is tough—even more so when that new talent isn’t a real person. Finding the ideal applicants has become challenging for HR professionals due to the proliferation of phoney profiles on LinkedIn. A mini-investigation by KrebsOnSecurity has confirmed that fake profiles have swarmed executive positions and, more specifically, industries involving global events and current issues.
