Caffeine seems to jumpstart more than just people. A study conducted in a former coffee farm in Costa Rica has revealed that coffee pulp significantly boosts the growth of new trees; in two years, the area researchers covered with the pulp had turned into a small forest, while the control area was dominated by grass. Kai Cheng’s professor had a brilliant scheme. In his first lecture, he promised that each lecture would feature a “Lie of the Day”. But why?
