Due to the sheer number of people it hires, Amazon has integrated entire communities into their system in some areas of the US. In areas like San Bernardino, California, a high school has partnered with the logistics behemoth to train students for a life working for Amazon. The classroom looks like an Amazon warehouse, the students wear Amazon polo shirts, and the faculty teach them Amazon principles so they’re ready to work as soon as they graduate.

Overcoming Bias
Kai Cheng’s professor had a brilliant scheme. In his first lecture, he promised that each lecture would feature a “Lie of the Day”. But why? It made his students more attentive and analytical, poring over every detail of his lecture and making sense of why things were true.
